   Our foundation is committed to empowering individuals by enhancing their soft skills for success in the workforce. We recognize that technical expertise alone is insufficient; therefore, we strive to equip job seekers with essential interpersonal and communication abilities. Through targeted training programs, mentorship, and community partnerships, we aim to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, fostering a more resilient and adaptable workforce.

Roberta Hall is the dynamic leader of 'School Is My First JOB' (Journey of Business), with an extensive background in workforce development. Before spearheading this initiative, she led Unity Staffing, a comprehensive staffing agency that linked individuals with career opportunities and temporary roles in Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina. Her entrepreneurial journey, indicated by diverse roles, highlighted the significance of soft skills for career success and longevity. These essential skills, encompassing various habits and personal traits, are vital in both solo and team settings.      


Hall's transition from corporate HR to public service signifies her dedication to this mission. She invests considerable time in coaching and mentoring job seekers, as demonstrated by her previous board appointment with the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency, her ascent to senior and executive positions within the City of Atlanta, DeKalb County, and the Georgia Department of Labor, and her continuous contributions to Training and Development. Hall's unwavering commitment to the principles of School Is My First JOB has brought her recognition and awards. As a Shorter University graduate, she champions the empowerment of others through what she terms “HIRE” education and hands-on skills.
